Greg Ketter started selling books well over 50 years ago, and opened his first bookstore on April 1, 1977. It was a small, fairly standard store specializing in Science Fiction and Comic Books. As the years went by his tastes broadened and he began adding other types of books—and bookstores—pulps, “Beat” writers, as well as more “adult” fare and what would now be considered LGBTQ works, but the term hadn’t been popularized yet. Soon, Greg began editing and publishing a number of books, including collecting Tim Barela’s Leonard & Larry. Now, after 48 years, DreamHaven Books is still around, proudly presenting good books to good people. Greg has supported the SF & LGBTQ+ communities in countless ways. And he tells so many stories about the writers and people from along the way.
